Higashi honganji temple is few steps away, restaurant is NICE. Our room was excellent. We were right by some of our favorite spots such as kyoto tower.

Great location so close to the Sanjo train station. Its literally just walking distance from kyoto tower. It's worth staying here and exploring Kawaramachi, Karasuma, Omiya district. Was a nice comfy base for trip;)))
